This is an updated version of my previous PERS Seminars that I have presented for various school districts and state institutions. We will be covering how Tier 1 and Tier 2 are being effected by new legislation, detailed information on your retirement options, and the pros and cons for each. We will also have some talking points on Social Security and other supplementary programs like the 403(b) and 457 programs.

This seminar will not be covering OPSRP.

Although anyone can benefit from this information, this seminar is best suited for those within 5 years or less, but would also benefit those that started working for the state BEFORE September of 2003.
